For all those who missed last months article about the poetry slams out in Mesa, they are still going on at Anthology Café on Wednesdays, and Essenza on Thursdays. While this isn’t really music related, I feel poetry can be argued to be an art form. Besides that, it’s just something fun to do. Poetry readings aren’t exactly fun, because they tend to be very serious, ut the slam format leans more towards humor and theatrics. Not to mention, cheering and screaming. It really livens up the
idea of poetry, which is usually more solemn and sobering.
