  Several people suggested I write a piece commemorating the year anniversary of S.L.A.M. magazine. So, here it is. I’d like to start by saying; I had no idea what I was getting myself into! Deadlines, begging for advertising money, too many CD’s to listen to, and asking my staff to be patient as I freak out every month, afraid the magazine won’t be out in time. It’s been a long year.

Join us in celebration of SLAM Magazine's first year of publication!

We are having a huge party at Alice Cooper'stown (MAP) on Friday, February 20th. All ages welcome, 10 bucks for 10 great bands, doors open at 7pm. Two stages with continuous music from talented local musicians, along with local artists featured in SLAM Magazine!

Bands include: Smut Muffin, Booby Trap, Spaz Kitty, Selfless, Amok, Sinner Lane, Signs of Betrayal, The Dames, Hardwire, Workshirt Wonder, &
featuring the music of Dan Tedesco.
