If you've turned on your television in the last couple of months, you likely have been assaulted by messages regarding the moral standings of one man or the military service record of another. While this would be a good time to point out that you can avoid all of this propaganda by simply going out to one of the shows listed on the back cover of this magazine and enjoying a little local music, they do serve a valuable purpose in reminding us that we're in an election year....continue >
SLAM would like to invite everyone in the valley to meet the people who put this magazine together, and take an opportunity to network and give us your suggestions. We will be holding a gathering at Alice's Restaurant at 7th street and Fillmore on Sunday, September 26th. Expect things to get started around 6pm, seeing as how we don't come out until the sun goes down. Anyone is welcome. So whether you own a venue, have
